Gender-Based Violence

Addressing GBV is a cornerstone of the foundation’s work, aiming to prevent violence and support survivors. Key components include:

  • Awareness Campaigns: These campaigns focus on educating the public about different forms of GBV, including physical, sexual, psychological, and economic violence. The foundation uses media, community events, and workshops to spread awareness.
  • Support Services: The foundation provides survivors of GBV with access to psychological counseling, legal aid, and medical care. Safe spaces are established where survivors can receive confidential support and services.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Training programs for community leaders, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and educators help them recognize and appropriately respond to cases of GBV. These programs aim to build a supportive network that can effectively protect and assist survivors.
